This paper presents analysis of indexes effectiveness in one real work system. Here, the word is about the system for collection and transportation of waste in city of Niš (Serbia). The analysis includes following indexes of effectiveness: mean down time, mean time between failures, operational availability, reliability, which characterize current system. Patterns were treated by mathematical and statistical methods.
