All articles published in our journal are open access and freely available online, immediately upon publication. All received manuscripts are treated as confidential until they are published.

Every manuscript submitted to JAES will be considered for review only if the results contained in the manuscript were not already published or in the proces s of reviewing or publishing in another journal.

Each manuscript is sent to a review by minimum two qualified reviewers and the authors are obligated to adopt the remarks, suggestions and comments of the reviewers. Articles presented at conferences may also be submitted, provided these articles do not appear in substantially the same form as published in conference proceedings.

Journal of Applied Engineering Science considers Original scientific Paper, Review paper, Short report, Preliminary report and Professional paper as articles for publication. Please choose one of the given options during initial submission.

We differentiate between the requirements for new/revised and final submissions. You may submit your manuscript as a single Word file to be used in the refereeing process. Only when your paper is at the final revision stage, will you be requested to put your paper in to a Final submission manuscript format for acceptance of your article.

Manuscripts must be in English, be free of typing errors, and have a recommended length of up to 10 pages. Additional pages are subject to increased costs, which amount to 20 EUR per page. The maximum recommended length for an original scientific paper is 15 pages, and for a review paper, it is 20 pages.

Every new submission will be considered only if it is accompanied by a completed and signed Submission Check List, as well as detailed metadata about the manuscript and all contributing authors.

THE FINAL SUBMISSION

Regardless of the file format of the original submission, for the final Editor decision you must provide us with Final submisson manuscript format as editable file of the entire article in line with JAES Instruction for authors template.

Submission of the manuscripts is free of charge.

Publication process is free of charge.

Article Processing Cost (APC)

APC of 350 Euros per article is introduced for all manuscripts accepted for publication in the JOURNAL OF APPLIED ENGINEERING SCIENCE. 

APC have to be paid ONLY after positive decision of the Editor-in-chief, that manuscript is accepted for publication. Such Article will be included in one of the next issues of JAES, after regulated APC payment. 

CITATION OF REFERENCES

The References, as an indispensable part of any scientific and professional work, contribute to the quality of work, speaks of the sources used and thus the depth of information on the subject by which the work is dedicated.

References must be cited consecutively in the text using square brackets [1] and collected together in a reference list at the end of the manuscript. A reference list must be included using the following information as a guide. Only cited text references are to be included. Each reference is to be referred to in the text by a number enclosed in a square bracket (i.e. [3] or [2] to [4] for more references; do not combine more than 3 references, explain each). References must be numbered and ordered according to where they are first mentioned in the paper, not alphabetically. All references must be complete and accurate. Please add DOI code when available. Examples follow:
