Journal of Applied Engineering Science, Number 1, Year 2025, Volume 23
Supporting
collaborative paths in applied engineering science
As an international
platform dedicated to the dissemination of research findings in applied
engineering sciences, the Journal of Applied Engineering Science (JAES) places
particular value on initiatives that contribute to the development of
sustainable technologies, energy efficiency, and interdisciplinary research. In
this context, JAES proudly supports two significant scientific conferences in
2025: the PCC Balkan Conference and the YOURS – YOUng ResearcherS Conference.
The PCC Balkan
Conference 2025, organized under the theme "Low-Carbon Hydrogen Potentials
in the Implementation of Sustainable Transport Solutions", continues its
long-standing tradition of gathering experts in automotive engineering, vehicle
dynamics, traffic safety, materials, and maintenance. This year’s focus on
hydrogen aligns with global energy transition trends and JAES’s scope,
particularly regarding renewable energy applications and intelligent
transportation systems. The inclusion of topics such as tire technology,
thermal and pressure control devices, waste rubber handling, and conformity
assessment demonstrates the conference’s comprehensive approach to engineering
challenges in the transport and mobility sector.
Equally significant is
the YOURS – YOUng ResearcherS Conference 2025, which serves as a dynamic
platform for empowering young scientists under the age of 35. By promoting
knowledge exchange between emerging researchers and representatives from
academia, industry, and government, the conference facilitates the transformation
of innovative ideas into viable projects. With sessions focused on
technologies, materials, production processes, information systems,
maintenance, and cost analysis, YOURS directly contributes to the JAES mission
of fostering multidisciplinary dialogue and supporting research with practical
application potential.
Both conferences offer
rigorously reviewed papers, high-quality discussions, and opportunities for
future collaboration. As the scientific community strives to respond to global
challenges through innovation and engineering excellence, initiatives like PCC
and YOURS represent vital pillars for sustainable development and technological
progress.
JAES encourages the
continuation and expansion of such events and looks forward to future
contributions inspired by the findings and discussions emerging from these
outstanding gatherings.
