The vast majority of electric vehicle used by the "Serbian railways" use obsolete bridge rectifier that is a source of harmonic currents; predominantly odd ones. The size of current harmonics also depends on the structure of reaction supplying section. Some of the current harmonics, the source of which is electric vehicle, may increase as an implication of resonances. In our article we characterise this increase by coefficient of increase in current kn. This coefficient is, for each harmonic, determined by the ratio of the harmonic's current in the traction transformer substation and its current on the vehicle collector. The article deals with the influence of a constellation of the traction supplying section; predominantly with influence of number of electric vehicles on the coefficient kn.
